To catalog/index your existing Karaoke song files into CompuHost V3...
- Select "Songlist->Index/Catalog Existing Karaoke Song Files" from the Top Main Menu.
2. Select the Drive/Folder location of your existing Karaoke song files then click NEXT...
3. If you existing Karaoke song files are further divided into sub-folders under the PARENT/TOP folder, select "YES" to include the sub-folders in the automated scanning process, then click NEXT...
4. Select the File-Naming Template that best corresponds to the file-naming structure of your existing Karaoke song files from the drop-down selections.
HINT: In most cases, the very TOP selection "Industry Standards 1" may be the best choice.
5. Then click NEXT...
6. If this is the FIRST time you are cataloging/indexing your Karaoke song files, or you are wishing to completely rebuild the searchable songlist (start anew), select "Rebuild Entire Songlist". Otherwise, if wishing to simply add newly aquired song selections to an existing song catalog, select "Update...". Then click NEXT...
7. That's it, you're all set. Click "Begin Indexing" to launch the automated indexing/cataloging process!
